Marquee

Marquee is the digital platform for institutional clients of Goldman Sachs. Marquee provides cutting-edge technological tools that empower our clients to successfully navigate global markets.

As part of Marquee's experience, we wanted to allow our institutional clients and key stakeholders to actively seek indicative pricing for targeted financial products. This project aims to discover the context of requesting indicative pricing for our equity basket products, while also investigating the most effective implementation strategy for an RFQ (Request for Quote) function.

Seven user interviews with key users and stakeholders of the services offered by Marquee, including Strategists, Traders, and Sales Traders, participated and shared their user perspectives. Then, we explored and delivered one of the RFQ design interactions.

Conclusion

As a result of this project, the floating RFQ button has been seamlessly integrated into the system, resulting in substantial utilization at high volumes on a daily basis. This feature has emerged as the most utilized tool among sales traders and is poised to be extended to external clients in the near future.
