About
Hello there!
My name is Juho [joo-hò], and I'm currently a graduate student at the MFA Products of Design program at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. I was born in South Korea and moved to the US when I was 15, now having spent half of my life in the United States. In college, I studied psychology because I just wanted to help people. But then, I heard Bruce MacGregor speak at a conference on the power of design in creating behavioral change. His lecture inspired me so much that I wanted to learn design: finding creative ways to help people has always been something that I have been interested in. When I took a year to delve into the topic, I fell in love with the many different aspects of design. One thing led to another, and here I am: searching for design solutions to our everyday difficulties across a broad range of design fields including UX/UI, product, graphic, and interaction design.
I love to make, paint, draw, and sketch. Most of all, I love to capture stunning moments of my life with my camera.
